Emerald Dragon is built on a clear tension: Ireland is rich in myths, but lacks a recognisable food icon that people can point at as very Irish.

The strategy positions Irish-Chinese cuisine as the country’s “best kept secret,” something to discover, not just consume.

The design brings this to life through a fusion of Irish and Chinese visual cues. A bold, characterful logotype, stamp-like symbols, and an expressive dragon (rehead) create a sense of folklore and authenticity, rather than polished branding.

Across packaging and communications, the identity feels lived-in and story-driven, turning a simple fast food into something cultural, mysterious, and worth uncovering.
