Access to cooling is essential, but conventional cooling systems consume huge amounts of energy and release harmful greenhouse gases, warming the world even further. Cooling Lab Division seeks to bring together technology innovators and leading companies to pilot innovative climate-smart technologies and solutions to improve the cost and energy efficiency of cooling.

Inspired by the impact they seek to make and the constant effort of cooling in the context of climate change, the identity features a circle with moving shapes, suggesting thermal imaging of a sphere constantly affected by changing temperatures.

This dynamic brand uses the most recognisable visual system known in the scientific community to represent thermal energy where red represents high temperatures (hot), and blue represents lower temperatures (cold). An aesthetic driven by colour that effectively creates a clear, strong, memorable brand while resonating with its purpose and target audience.
